This week at Winchester City Mill we have reached a significant milestone - the installation of the new oak axle tree.
After many hours of design, templating and construction the axle tree fitted exactly to our measurements which is always a great feeling of pride and achievement.
Our next phase will be the installation of the waterwheel which is always and exciting phase as the mill will begin to come back to life.
