Condition survey for Heritage Lottery Fund bid. Main contractor responsible for conservation as part of £1M exhibition project for the Royal Navy Submarine Museum.

This project was awarded The Pilgrim's Trust Award for Conservation and The Institution of Mechanical Engineers Engineering Heritage Award.

Ian Clark Restoration also fabricated a replica bronze conning tower ladder based on archival drawings

The bronze helm wheel casting was moulded from a surviving A Class example which was used on both classes
