Shand Mason Fire Escape Ladder, Petworth House - The National Trust

ICR was commissioned to undertake an extensive stabilisation and conservation service cleaning of this 80' lattice girder fire escape ladder built circa 1900.  It is unknown at what date this equipment was originally supplied to Petworth House but James Shand patented this design in 1890.
