This season’s project is ongoing waterwheel maintenance, lineshafting refit and lubricant upgrade and conservation works to the jigger machines.
The jigger’s, driven by the waterwheel, separated lead - bearing ore from waste rock by means of mechanical sieves, flowing water and gravity.
